LET IT RAIN ON ME

ALL I WANT FOR X’MAS IS …. YOU! YES YOU!

Oh dear! Don’t get it wrong yeah. I don’t celebrate X’mas of course. The best thing about X’mas is Sale!!! Plus, it’s the Year End Sale (Y.E.S). Perfumes, handbag, blouses … everything!!! I really need new purse, eye palette and mascara (I already buat kajian tapak di Sephora, kinda already know what I want). I wish I have all the money in the world to buy everything I want. But kata orang, orang tamak selalu rugi macam anjing dengan bayang-bayangnya. (Or maybe orang tamak selalu untung, sebab orang tak pegang barang dengan mulut kan, if jatuh boleh tunduk amek balik.)

The last time I went shopping was like zillions years ago! Kidding…shopping for wedding is not a therapy for me. I really need to buy something…like seriously now. I just dunno why…probably post-wedding syndrome. But maybe I should save up for our honeymoon…which is scheduled early next year (InsyaAllah). But Mr. Vroom2 already made plan to join an event next January. I hope he doesn’t count that as our honeymoon. Kalau tak, I’m gonna give him my signature “tampar laju-laju”.

So for our honeymoon, Mr. Vroom2 plans for island gateway with few others newly weds (his friends). If we go in group, the cost will be slightly cheaper. Most probably Pulau Redang or Pulau Perhentian. Depend on cuaca juga…if tetiba monsoon memberontak, anggap saja tak ada rezeki. But I’m going to limit it to 3 couples (including us). If ramai of his friends join, he end up lepak with his friends. Nak lepak dengan kawan2 lain time boleh. That is NOT a honeymoon for me. That’s honeyGLOOM!!! That will cost him another “tampar laju-laju” from me.

My perfect honeymoon would be spending the time together cuddling lovey dovey, strolling along the beach & candle light dinner by the beach. Terpengaruh dengan movies and cerekarama/slot akasia…whatever. But, it’s a girl thing, OK! We did the jalan2 tepi pantai at PD but that time we lepak with his friend, Aiman and gf. Sepanjang jalan-jalan tepi pantai, he was talking to his friends! Seriously, I’m not complaining but a guy should know the perfect moment that will last in her memory till infinity.

Enuff with the honeymoon plan, back to my list. Here’s the list of the things that I really really need :-

1. New purse. Currently using small Nine West purse, I can’t store all my discount card/point card/credit card/manila kad etc. I want that Fossil leather purse I saw at Fossil KLCC.
2. Eye palette and mascara from Sephora. Gonna S.O.S my partner in crime for this.
3. A tablet. (not ipad…probably Samsung or that Acer (my brother wanted to let go his Acer). Mr. Vroom2 boleh main game race keta dia, I can update my blog. (Alasan)
4. New baju esp. office attire. (my hips dun lie, I’ve put on weight)…or maybe I should ganti puasa and diet.
5. New “baju” for my BB.
6. Cabinet to put TV in room. Go to IKEA or survey at mudah.my for used but good cabinet.
7. Need to revamp our bathroom. Go to IKEA.

That’s it for now. I’ll update my list bila dapat ilham lagi ye. As for now, mari sama-sama berdoa, agar company saya memberi bonus kepada kakitangan-kakitangannya so that I can pay my credit card and go honeymoon and shopping saving untuk masa depan.

Limastiga : Your Own Private Paradise

For this year’s Aidil Adha, the Megat Clan decided to do something
different. Since most of us live in “urban” area (KL, Bangi, Klang,
KD, JB and Batu Gajah), we decided to find a new “kampung”. and our new "kampung" is ... drumroll please ...it's Limastiga Homestay, Melaka.

Limastiga Homestay Melaka is a village-style abode combines modern architecture. There are three houses (Rumah Satu & Rumah Tiga: 2 spacious air conditioned bedrooms; Rumah Dua: 1 bedroom) with a large pool set in the middle of the compound. So, we had the whole place just for the big family (23 adults, 2 kiddies, 2 babies) but I think we can have more people to join. BESAR GILERRRR!!!

Located at Jalan Bukit Tembakau, near Umbai (famous ikan bakar spot). The homestay also provide kitchen, BBQ pit, towels and KARAOKE for gleeks out there! However, the karok set rosak plak during our stay.

If you guys out there looking for a place to stay away from “hiruk pikuk kota” and just want to relax or even organizing reunion with friends or private function, I’ll definitely recommend u this place.

Movie: Tower Heist

Last nite was Date Nite!

So, our choice of movie : Tower Heist

This movie is like a modern version of Robin Hood. About a group of working guys found out they've become victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.

I really enjoy this movie plus it's Ben Stiller's! So if guys kinda of missed the movie, just go to Wiki and read the whole plot. Here the link : Tower Heist

Ulcer Mulut?! Ouchhh

That's not mine! I had this ulcer since last week...i dunno how it happened. Most probably the weather or kurang minum air, tergigit bibir, perubahan hormon (percampuran hormon kot) or stress? For female sometimes in association with menstrual cycle and kekurangan vitamin especially B-Complex and acid folic. But in my case, I think sebab TERminum air in a boiling temperature. (Padan muka!)

According to Wikipedia :
"Mouth ulcers tend to be more common in women and those under 45. Mouth ulcers occur most frequently among 16-25 year olds,[6] and they rarely occur in anyone over 55.[6] The frequency of mouth ulcers varies from fewer than 4 episodes per year (85% of all cases) to more than one episode per month (10% of all cases) including people suffering from continuous recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS).[5] People over 45 years of age are the most affected by continuous mouth ulcers. [7]"

Tips Untuk Menghilangkan Ulcer:
1) Letak garam : pedih and sakit gila. but berkesan. never dare to try it.or berkumur dengan air garam.
2) Letak asam keping/ asam gelugor : tekapkan asam keping sebesar jari kelingking for a few seconds.pedih jugak.
3) Letak marjerin : petua mama. oh pedih jugak.but if sapu kat roti lagi sedap.
4) Letak serbuk nescafe : i did this one.pedih jugak.but sekejap je.i recommend this!
5) Beli ubat untuk ulcer mulut seperti Bonjela. There's one brand reccomended by pharmacist Orrepaste. Katanya lagi berkesan dari Bonjela.
6) Kurangkan makan makanan yang pedas-pedas and panas.
7) Untuk kelegaan sementara, tuam ulcer dengan ais. This is the best!!hehe

Tips To Prevent Mouth Ulcer:
1) Pastikan minum air suam secukupnya.
2) Maintain oral hygiene. Berus gigi 2 kali sehari. Berkumur dengan Listerine.
3) If gigi/gusi sensitive, sila gunakan toothpaste and berus gigi yang sesuai.
4) Vitamin B complex and folic acid supplement will help.
5) If gigi tajam mcm raja bersiung, sila jumpa dentist berdekatan.
6) Amalkan hidup yang sihat. (ewahhh) dan kurangkan stress dalam kehidupan. Enjoy life. We only live once.

Bila ada ulcer, we can't enjoy our food and "freedom of speech" (in other word:gossiping). So, I hope readers out there (if any) can share their tips or try mine and see if it works for you.

The Pink Pamper Party

The Pink Pamper Party which was held on 22 October 2011 at Tropicana Medical Centre, Kota Damansara is a charity event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and to raise funds for the National Cancer Malaysia. Organized by Tropicana Medical Centre Kota Damansara, Curves, AVON and PEKA. It was a "girlie" event : manicure, pedicure, threading, waxing, massage, lucky draw, games (best dressed and FANCIEST BRA!), ZUMBA (it was FUN!!!), breast examination tips ... and of course health talk.

Well, I did not win anything (not lucky enough for the lucky draw) but I had so much fun with my girlfriends. Here's the proof! =)

The Wax Job

Brazillian Wax anyone?

It was my in my "To Do List" by the age of 30 y.o. even tho I've already reached my 3.0 series but at least I did at the age of 30 plus I'm getting married at that time (now, officially a wifey!!! :) ). So, on 26 September 2011, I went to get my "down-under service" with my pregnant friend (already gave birth a beautiful and healthy baby girl) and my "kawan dunia akhirat".

After a few surveys and googling, we decided to go to the Glitters Nails & Waxing Salon located at Bangsar Village 2. How was it? hmmm... it was not that horrifying (if u read it in the internet/blogs). It was OK for me...I was actually giggling throughout the process...painful enuff to make u laugh. HaHaHa funny me.

Different from my two darling friends : one was screaming (tak tahan sakit, pity her) and the other was in total silent! (she said she was too shy to show any emotions!). But we are all OK after the wax session. None of us jalan terkengkang pon...

As for the price...we had ours for RM125 each! The price was reasonable for us. We also received a discount card each- 10% discount for next waxing and 50% during your birthday month!!! Isn't that great. Who doesn't love discount?

So, anyone care for wax job?
